I recently posted something on social media and made reference to "Victoria Day". I was later asked who is Victoria. Whether tongue in cheek or a serious question, that got me to thinking. Over the passed few days I've just casually asked people if they know the origin and reason why Canada celebrates Victoria Day. I was a bit surprised at home many don't know.
